I’m on a mission to de-snobbify food, cooking, and the publishing process for home cooks, chefs, and cookbook authors.
After eight years in the NYC book publishing scene—the last three of which were spent at Clarkson Potter, Penguin Random House's cookbook and illustrated lifestyle imprint—I decided to leave my corporate editorial gig in 2011 to pursue a freelance career in Philadelphia. Since then, I’ve worked with award-winning chefs, influencers, food brands, nutritionists, and large and small publishing companies across the United States and beyond to edit cookbooks; develop and test recipes; write book proposals and manuscript copy; and manage the publishing process from proposal to finished proofs.
My first book, The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pizza Cookbook, was published in 2017, my second and third, Pizza Rules: A Quick-Start Guide to Making Pizza at Home and The Dip Deck: 50 Savory and Sweet Recipes to Scoop, Dunk, and Spread, came out in 2025. My writing has also appeared on Wired.com, Parents.com, TheKitchn.com, and Edible Philly, among other websites and publications.
