Whether you need help developing recipes from scratch, converting dishes you know by heart to a reader-friendly format, or testing written recipes to make sure they'll work for home cooks, I've got you covered. My current and past clients include food producers, brands, self-published cookbook authors, celebrity food personalities, and award-winning chefs. For examples of my own original recipes, visit ThursdayNightPizza.com or check out my book, The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pizza Cookbook.

How it works
- Recipe testing ($100 to $300 per recipe, plus reimbursement for ingredients)—Send me your recipes and I’ll cook them in my home kitchen, taking detailed notes about seasoning levels, cooking times, indications of doneness, clarity of instructions, etc.
- Recipe development ($250 to $500 per recipe, plus reimbursement for ingredients)—Send me descriptions of the recipes you’d like me to create, making sure to include specific details (special ingredients to use/avoid, seasonality, occasion/holiday, etc.). Then, I’ll sketch out recipe drafts, send them to you for preliminary review, and test them in my home kitchen until they taste and look just right. (If necessary, I might send you updates and ask for input during this process.) When we’re both happy with the recipes, I’ll type them up in a manuscript-ready format and send them to you as a Word or Google document.

Honestly, working with Peggy [for recipe editing and testing] was the easiest part of making my cookbook, which was hard. I’m so pleased by how well the recipes work. I get a lot of praise from Pizza Camp and am thankful to have had Peggy on my team. — Joe Beddia, chef and owner of Pizzeria Beddia (Philadelphia, PA)
